Learn to Lindy Hop: A Vintage Swing Dance!
Join us at Cervantes’ Other Side for a night of Lindy Hop. Born in Harlem, NY alongside Jazz music in the 1930’s & ’40’s, Lindy is a joyful dance and will put a smile on your face. We’re excited to share with you this amazing dance. In our class, you can elect to stay with one partner, or rotate partners. Singles, couples, and drop-ins are all welcome!
BEGINNING LINDY HOP – 6:00PM
This is a progressive series for the beginner Lindy Hopper. We start from square one, teaching the basic rhythms, footwork, and technique. By the end, you’ll have several classic moves to use on the social dance floor! Each class builds upon the previous one, so sign up for the whole month.
INTERMEDIATE LINDY HOP – 7:00PM
A great way to improve your repertoire! Once you have the basics nailed (we suggest taking the Beginning class for at least two months) hop on up to this class! In May we’ll be working on classic patterns and stylings. It’s going to be FUN!

SIGN UP FOR THE ENTIRE MONTH – $45 per dancer for May (…gets you one FREE class when compared to the drop-in rate!)
Drop-ins: $15 per student per class.*
On Tuesdays, the social dance after class is $15. Come to a class and save $3 off cover!

THE LINDY JAM! – 8:00PM – MIDNIGHT
Join our regular weekly Swing Nights’ Lindy Jam, with DJ’s playing hot vintage tracks, and all the rest come out to dance. A Denver Classic! Now “On Tour!” at Cervantes’ Other Side for May 5th and 12th!
$15, DJ Dance
Come to class beforehand and join in all the fun! (Classes sold separately.)
May 5th and May 12th sessions will be at Cervantes’ Other Side, subsequent sessions will happen, but location TBD. Thanks for your flexibility as we’re currently “On Tour!” from our Mercury Cafe home.
