the olllam is a transatlantic collective blending Irish traditional music with Detroit's psychedelic post-rock. Featuring John McSherry, Michael Shimmin, Joe Dart (Vulfpeck), Ross Ainslie, Seán O'Meara, and Joe Hettinga, their music is both rooted and cinematic. After releasing their acclaimed 2022 album elllegy (RTÉ Radio 1's Best Group), they toured sold-out venues across Ireland and the UK. In 2024, they co-wrote Sona with GRAMMY-nominated producer Zedd for his album Telos, leading to a surprise Coachella 2025 performance seen by millions.
